Hi I’m Scarlett!

 

I’ve always been interested in fitness and health since a young age, it started with the desire to be as ‘skinny’ as the latest celeb on the girl magazines. Running along the seafront and fitness workout DVD’s were my go-to!

 

I studied Sports Science at university, and after my degree in Sports Science I went on to become a qualified level 3 Personal Trainer. I have competed in two bikini fitness competitions, and have always enjoyed working out and moving my body.

However, after hitting 30 I found myself no longer prioritising exercise and finding excuses not to workout - too busy, work commitments, training my new puppy. Slowly the pounds started to pile on, until I realised it had been almost a year of not working out and eating rubbish foods (think half a packet of biscuits mindlessly consumed in the evening!)

I decided I needed to stop making excuses and improve my health and get back into exercise. I created a routine that fitted around my corporate job without leaving me feeling burnt out. I focused on eating better quality foods that nourished my body and improved my gut microbiome, by increasing my fibre and protein intake whilst limiting the ultra processed foods from my diet. I have also focused on moving my body in other ways than just my typical body building days and incorporated Pilates and meditation into my weekly routines.

My method is here to help motivate you back into fitness, find an exercise structure that works for you and help you make better choices around food to feel your best without going super restrictive.
